I found the air conditioning in my room to be helpful, especially after spending days exploring the area. The restaurant offered a variety of traditional dishes, making it easy to enjoy local flavors.
However, I had an unpleasant experience when I had to get ice from the bar, only to be told it was the last of the free ice.

The Azteca Inn sits right in the heart of the Golden Zone, making it super easy to access local shops and the beach. My room was small but had all the basics covered. The air conditioning worked well, helping to keep the heat at bay. The pool area had a nice vibe, although I noticed it wasn’t the cleanest. There were times I spotted cockroaches while lounging outside, which was quite unsettling. Staff at the front desk could use some friendliness training. On the bright side, the cleaning staff was fantastic and always cheerful. I appreciated having a tienda nearby for quick snacks. But the hotel had so many rules that felt restricting. no alcohol in the rooms felt a bit odd. Overall, I had a decent time but felt cleanliness and service could be improved significantly.

Recommend it for groups wanting a clean and quiet stay
The security guys were wonderful, very friendly and the restaurant was good and not too expensive. I liked the sports bar on hotel as well where we enjoyed some drinks after a long day.
It wasn’t overpriced but still acceptable for what we got.
